MODISON METALS share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 172.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 74,178.3 (up 1.0%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are L&T (up 2.3%) and ABB (up 1.7%).

TIMKEN INDIA (down 1.8%) and HINDUSTAN AERO. (down 0.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, MODISON METALS has moved up from Rs 79.0 to Rs 172.0, registering a gain of Rs 93.1 (up 117.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 44,700.9 to 74,178.3, registering a gain of 65.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 172.1%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 135.9%) and Bharat Electronics (up 129.0%).

The BSE Sensex is at 81,880.1 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (up 2.3%) and Maruti Suzuki (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,068.9 (up 0.2%). L&T and Maruti Suzuki are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,433.3 to 81,880.1, registering a gain of 16,446.8 points (up 25.1%).

MODISON METALS Financial Update...

MODISON METALS net profit fell 79.2% YoY to Rs 11 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 55 million a year ago. Net sales rose 35.4% to Rs 1,165 million during the period as against Rs 861 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, MODISON METALS reported 91.1% increase in net profit to Rs 214 million compared to net profit of Rs 112 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 20.9% to Rs 4,046 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MODISON METALS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 32.8.
