Symphony share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 1,685.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 64,526.1 (up 0.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are Blue Star (up 2.0%) and Voltas (up 1.6%).

ORIENT ELECTRIC (down 0.4%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Symphony has moved up from Rs 880.0 to Rs 1,685.0, registering a gain of Rs 805.1 (up 91.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 44,089.7 to 64,526.1, registering a gain of 46.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 167.9%), Blue Star (up 133.6%) and Voltas (up 108.8%).

The BSE Sensex is at 81,655.3 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are JSW Steel (down 1.2%) and Kotak Bank (down 0.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HCl Tech..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,995.9 (down 0.1%). BPCL and Shriram Transport are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,433.3 to 81,655.3, registering a gain of 16,222.0 points (up 24.8%).

Symphony Financial Update...

Symphony net profit grew 266.7% YoY to Rs 880 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 240 million a year ago. Net sales rose 75.8% to Rs 5,310 million during the period as against Rs 3,020 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Symphony reported 27.8% increase in net profit to Rs 1,481 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,159 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 2.7% to Rs 11,561 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Symphony, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 54.8.
