ASHOKA BUILDCON Gains 10%; BSE REALTY Index Up 2.0%

ASHOKA BUILDCON share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 245.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,910.6 (up 2.0%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 13.0%) and PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 7.2%).

MAHINDRA LIFESPACE is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, ASHOKA BUILDCON has moved up from Rs 80.1 to Rs 245.0, registering a gain of Rs 165.0 (up 206.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,109.2 to 8,910.6, registering a gain of 116.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 273.2%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 251.8%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 151.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,478.9 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are JSW Steel (up 1.7%) and Tata Steel (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,579.2 (up 0.3%). Hindalco and Grasim Industries are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,168.3 to 77,478.9, registering a gain of 14,310.6 points (up 22.7%).

ASHOKA BUILDCON Financial Update...

ASHOKA BUILDCON net profit grew 685.0% YoY to Rs 2,634 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 450 million a year ago. Net sales rose 24.6% to Rs 30,519 million during the period as against Rs 24,484 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, ASHOKA BUILDCON reported 51.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 3,729 million compared to net profit of Rs 7,714 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 35.0% to Rs 81,005 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ASHOKA BUILDCON, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 12.0.
