TUBE INVESTMENTS OF INDIA Plunges 4%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 0.4%

TUBE INVESTMENTS OF INDIA share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 4,204.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,473.6 (up 0.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Carborundum Universal (down 2.7%) and TIMKEN INDIA (down 1.5%).

Bharat Forge (up 5.7%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 1.1%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, TUBE INVESTMENTS OF INDIA has moved up from Rs 2,974.6 to Rs 4,204.1, registering a gain of Rs 1,229.5 (up 41.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 39,820.2 to 72,473.6, registering a gain of 82.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 236.4%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 172.0%) and Bharat Electronics (up 150.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,478.9 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are JSW Steel (up 1.7%) and Tata Steel (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,579.2 (up 0.3%). Hindalco and Grasim Industries are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,168.3 to 77,478.9, registering a gain of 14,310.6 points (up 22.7%).

TUBE INVESTMENTS OF INDIA net profit fell 13.5% YoY to Rs 2,715 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 3,139 million a year ago. Net sales rose 18.9% to Rs 44,901 million during the period as against Rs 37,776 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, TUBE INVESTMENTS OF INDIA reported 19.7% increase in net profit to Rs 11,584 million compared to net profit of Rs 9,676 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 20.2% to Rs 149,647 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TUBE INVESTMENTS OF INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 68.6.
