GRAVITA INDIA share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 2,254.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 31,838.3 (up 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are SAIL (up 0.9%) and Hindalco (up 0.9%).

Tata Steel (down 0.6%) and Jindal Steel (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GRAVITA INDIA has moved up from Rs 735.1 to Rs 2,254.4, registering a gain of Rs 1,519.3 (up 206.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 21,267.9 to 31,838.3, registering a gain of 49.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Coal India (up 129.4%), Vedanta (up 91.6%) and NMDC (up 89.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,658.1 (down 0.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (down 1.7%) and Kotak Bank (down 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,680.1 (down 0.1%). Ultratech Cement and Kotak Bank are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,216.1 to 80,658.1, registering a gain of 15,442.0 points (up 23.7%).

GRAVITA INDIA Financial Update...

GRAVITA INDIA net profit grew 29.4% YoY to Rs 680 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 526 million a year ago. Net sales rose 29.1% to Rs 9,079 million during the period as against Rs 7,034 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, GRAVITA INDIA reported 37.5% increase in net profit to Rs 2,041 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,485 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 26.4% to Rs 28,006 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GRAVITA INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 60.4.
