Nesco Gains 4%; BSE REALTY Index Down 0.2%

Nesco share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 926.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,174.9 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are Phoenix Mill (up 1.9%) and PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 1.6%).

DLF (down 1.2%) and Godrej Properties (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Nesco has moved up from Rs 668.6 to Rs 926.5, registering a gain of Rs 257.9 (up 38.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,225.3 to 8,174.9, registering a gain of 93.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 233.1%), Sobha (up 214.2%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 100.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,446.4 .

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Steel (up 2.5%) and TCS (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,572.4 (up 0.1%). Hindalco and BPCL are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 80,446.4, registering a gain of 15,044.5 points (up 23.0%).

Nesco Financial Update...

Nesco net profit fell 8.3% YoY to Rs 698 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 761 million a year ago. Net sales rose 3.5% to Rs 1,414 million during the period as against Rs 1,366 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Nesco reported 24.8% increase in net profit to Rs 3,628 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,906 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 24.2% to Rs 6,782 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Nesco, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 18.3.
