PENNAR INDUSTRIES share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 179.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 31,243.4 (up 1.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Hindalco (up 2.8%) and SAIL (up 1.9%).

Hindustan Zinc (down 4.8%) and APOLLO TUBES (down 1.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PENNAR INDUSTRIES has moved up from Rs 86.6 to Rs 179.4, registering a gain of Rs 92.8 (up 107.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 21,481.0 to 31,243.4, registering a gain of 45.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Coal India (up 122.4%), Vedanta (up 86.7%) and NMDC (up 83.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,419.9 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (down 2.0%) and Bharti Airtel (down 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,556.6 (up 0.1%). Hindalco and BPCL are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 80,419.9, registering a gain of 15,018.0 points (up 23.0%).

PENNAR INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

PENNAR INDUSTRIES net profit grew 21.0% YoY to Rs 264 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 218 million a year ago. Net sales declined 2.1% to Rs 7,335 million during the period as against Rs 7,489 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, PENNAR INDUSTRIES reported 80.0% increase in net profit to Rs 754 million compared to net profit of Rs 419 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 27.8% to Rs 28,946 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PENNAR INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 23.5.
