EMAMI INFRA Gains 20%; BSE REALTY Index Down 0.2%

EMAMI INFRA share price has zoomed 20% and is presently trading at Rs 108.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,176.7 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 1.5%) and Phoenix Mill (up 1.2%).

Sobha (down 1.0%) and DLF (down 0.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, EMAMI INFRA has moved up from Rs 67.8 to Rs 108.1, registering a gain of Rs 40.3 (up 59.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,225.3 to 8,176.7, registering a gain of 93.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 232.9%), Sobha (up 211.3%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 100.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,479.3 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Steel (up 1.3%) and NTPC (up 1.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,575.7 (up 0.1%). Hindalco and BPCL are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 80,479.3, registering a gain of 15,077.4 points (up 23.1%).

EMAMI INFRA Financial Update...

EMAMI INFRA net profit grew 3.8% YoY to Rs -138 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 144 million a year ago. Net sales declined 58.3% to Rs 54 million during the period as against Rs 130 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, EMAMI INFRA reported 374.1% decrease in net profit to Rs -411 million compared to net profit of Rs 150 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 51.1% to Rs 962 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of EMAMI INFRA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -3.3.
