GRAVITA INDIA share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 2,428.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 31,191.7 (up 1.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Hindalco (up 2.9%) and SAIL (up 1.8%).

Hindustan Zinc (down 4.8%) and APOLLO TUBES (down 1.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GRAVITA INDIA has moved up from Rs 749.5 to Rs 2,428.0, registering a gain of Rs 1,678.5 (up 223.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 21,481.0 to 31,191.7, registering a gain of 45.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Coal India (up 120.9%), Vedanta (up 86.1%) and NMDC (up 85.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are NTPC (up 1.7%) and Reliance Ind. (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,574.5 (up 0.1%). Hindalco and BPCL are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 80,465.8, registering a gain of 15,063.8 points (up 23.0%).

GRAVITA INDIA Financial Update...

GRAVITA INDIA net profit grew 29.4% YoY to Rs 680 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 526 million a year ago. Net sales rose 29.1% to Rs 9,079 million during the period as against Rs 7,034 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, GRAVITA INDIA reported 37.5% increase in net profit to Rs 2,041 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,485 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 26.4% to Rs 28,006 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GRAVITA INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 65.0.
