NCC Gains 5%; BSE REALTY Index Up 0.1%

NCC share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 324.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,195.9 (up 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are Phoenix Mill (up 1.9%) and PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 1.6%).

Godrej Properties (down 1.0%) and Brigade Enterprises (down 1.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, NCC has moved up from Rs 154.8 to Rs 324.4, registering a gain of Rs 169.6 (up 109.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,225.3 to 8,195.9, registering a gain of 94.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 233.1%), Sobha (up 213.6%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 100.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,488.4 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are NTPC (up 1.8%) and Reliance Ind. (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,574.5 (up 0.1%). Hindalco and BPCL are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 80,488.4, registering a gain of 15,086.5 points (up 23.1%).

NCC Financial Update...

NCC net profit grew 21.9% YoY to Rs 2,222 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,822 million a year ago. Net sales rose 26.2% to Rs 55,280 million during the period as against Rs 43,804 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, NCC reported 14.6% increase in net profit to Rs 7,404 million compared to net profit of Rs 6,462 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 34.0% to Rs 208,450 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NCC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 26.3.
