DLF Gains 6%; BSE REALTY Index Up 2.5%

DLF share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 868.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,190.0 (up 2.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are OBEROI REALTY (up 2.6%) and Godrej Properties (up 2.4%).

MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (down 0.4%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, DLF has moved up from Rs 470.8 to Rs 868.6, registering a gain of Rs 397.9 (up 84.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,225.3 to 8,190.0, registering a gain of 93.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 226.7%), Sobha (up 214.7%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 101.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,436.8 (up 1.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tech Mahindra (up 3.9%) and M&M (up 3.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,539.2 (up 1.6%). Wipro and Tech Mahindra are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 80,436.8, registering a gain of 15,034.9 points (up 23.0%).

DLF Financial Update...

DLF net profit grew 24.7% YoY to Rs 3,393 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 2,720 million a year ago. Net sales declined 4.3% to Rs 13,624 million during the period as against Rs 14,232 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, DLF reported 48.1% increase in net profit to Rs 16,304 million compared to net profit of Rs 11,009 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 12.9% to Rs 64,270 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of DLF, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 126.6.
