GMR POWER & URBAN share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 105.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,190.8 (up 0.9%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Carborundum Universal (up 2.5%) and Thermax (up 2.3%).

Honeywell Automation (down 0.4%) and SKF India (down 0.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GMR POWER & URBAN has moved up from Rs 20.3 to Rs 105.2, registering a gain of Rs 84.9 (up 417.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,332.6 to 72,190.8, registering a gain of 66.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 189.0%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 143.1%) and Bharat Electronics (up 128.5%).

The BSE Sensex is at 79,919.0 (up 1.0%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 2.9%) and Tata Motors (up 2.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Nestle.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,391.7 (up 1.0%). M&M and Tata Motors are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 79,919.0, registering a gain of 14,517.1 points (up 22.2%).

GMR POWER & URBAN Financial Update...

GMR POWER & URBAN net profit grew 740.1% YoY to Rs 13,498 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 2,109 million a year ago. Net sales rose 43.4% to Rs 16,119 million during the period as against Rs 11,242 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, GMR POWER & URBAN reported 274.9% increase in net profit to Rs 11,395 million compared to net loss of Rs 6,515 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 34.7% to Rs 55,247 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GMR POWER & URBAN, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 4.7.
