EKI ENERGY SERVICES Gains 11%; BSE IT Index Up 0.0%

EKI ENERGY SERVICES share price has zoomed 11% and is presently trading at Rs 357.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 35,849.8 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE IT index today are Sonata Software (up 2.7%) and KPIT TECHNOLOGIES (up 2.1%).

INTELLECT DESIGN (down 2.0%) and ROUTE MOBILE (down 1.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, EKI ENERGY SERVICES has moved down from Rs 504.8 to Rs 357.0, registering a loss of Rs 147.8 (down 29.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved up from 29,077.0 to 35,849.8, registering a gain of 23.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were Oracle Financial Services (up 151.8%), Birlasoft (up 104.6%) and INFIBEAM AVENUES (up 101.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,449.1 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are JSW Steel (up 2.2%) and Reliance Ind. (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,552.5 (up 0.2%). Hindalco and JSW Steel are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,168.3 to 77,449.1, registering a gain of 14,280.8 points (up 22.6%).

EKI ENERGY SERVICES Financial Update...

EKI ENERGY SERVICES net profit grew 39.0% YoY to Rs -291 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 478 million a year ago. Net sales declined 22.0% to Rs 779 million during the period as against Rs 998 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, EKI ENERGY SERVICES reported 68.8% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,196 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,831 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 28.5% to Rs 12,864 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of EKI ENERGY SERVICES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -7.6.
