V GUARD IND. share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 518.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,024.1 (down 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Thermax (up 1.6%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 0.8%).

AIA Engineering (down 5.5%) and BHEL (down 2.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, V GUARD IND. has moved up from Rs 317.2 to Rs 518.2, registering a gain of Rs 201.1 (up 63.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,553.3 to 72,024.1, registering a gain of 65.4% during the last 12 months.

The BSE Sensex is at 78,943.5 (down 0.9%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (down 3.3%) and Tata Motors (down 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Reliance Ind. and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,131.7 (down 0.9%). BPCL and HDFC Bank are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,995.8 to 78,943.5, registering a gain of 12,947.7 points (up 19.6%).

V GUARD IND. Financial Update...

V GUARD IND. net profit grew 54.1% YoY to Rs 990 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 642 million a year ago. Net sales rose 21.6% to Rs 14,771 million during the period as against Rs 12,148 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, V GUARD IND. reported 36.2% increase in net profit to Rs 2,576 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,891 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 17.7% to Rs 48,567 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of V GUARD IND., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 77.1.
