Indiabulls Infra Gains 8%; BSE POWER Index Up 0.5%

Indiabulls Infra share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 87.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER index is at 8,274.7 (up 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE POWER index today are ADANI ENERGY SOLUTIONS (up 4.8%) and Thermax (up 2.7%).

INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE (down 1.1%) and Siemens (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Indiabulls Infra has moved up from Rs 54.7 to Rs 87.2, registering a gain of Rs 32.5 (up 59.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER index has moved up from 4,225.0 to 8,274.7, registering a gain of 95.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 195.7%), TORRENT POWER (up 164.1%) and ADANI POWER (up 151.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,565.5 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (down 2.4%) and Tata Motors (down 0.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,320.4 (down 0.1%). HDFC Bank and BPCL are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,995.8 to 79,565.5, registering a gain of 13,569.7 points (up 20.6%).

Indiabulls Infra Financial Update...

Indiabulls Infra net profit grew 377.9% YoY to Rs 8,512 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,781 million a year ago. Net sales rose 69.5% to Rs 24,940 million during the period as against Rs 14,718 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Indiabulls Infra reported 151.7% decrease in net profit to Rs -2,861 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,539 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 29370.4% to Rs 41,238 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Indiabulls Infra, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 11.0.
