HERCULES HOISTS share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 586.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,943.0 (up 0.5%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are AIA Engineering (down 3.1%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA (down 1.5%).

Thermax (up 2.5%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 1.9%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, HERCULES HOISTS has moved up from Rs 342.5 to Rs 586.6, registering a gain of Rs 244.2 (up 71.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,553.3 to 72,943.0, registering a gain of 67.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 196.4%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 147.3%) and Bharat Electronics (up 128.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,546.4 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (down 2.4%) and Asian Paints (down 0.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,320.4 (down 0.1%). HDFC Bank and BPCL are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,995.8 to 79,546.4, registering a gain of 13,550.6 points (up 20.5%).

HERCULES HOISTS Financial Update...

HERCULES HOISTS net profit grew 23.5% YoY to Rs 59 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 48 million a year ago. Net sales declined 7.1% to Rs 381 million during the period as against Rs 410 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, HERCULES HOISTS reported 65.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 360 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,033 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 19.1% to Rs 1,795 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HERCULES HOISTS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 50.6.
