BPL LIMITED Gains 12%; BSE CONSUMER DURABLES Index Up 0.0%

BPL LIMITED share price has zoomed 12% and is presently trading at Rs 117.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 58,795.2 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.0%) and Voltas (up 0.8%).

AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (down 0.6%) and WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, BPL LIMITED has moved up from Rs 61.8 to Rs 117.6, registering a gain of Rs 55.8 (up 90.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Sun Pharma (down 1.6%) and Bajaj Finance (down 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,494.2 (down 0.1%). HDFC LIFE INSURANCE and Sun Pharma are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,168.3 to 77,250.4, registering a gain of 14,082.1 points (up 22.3%).

BPL LIMITED Financial Update...

BPL LIMITED net profit fell 79.2% YoY to Rs 3 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 15 million a year ago. Net sales rose 5.5% to Rs 162 million during the period as against Rs 153 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, BPL LIMITED reported 60.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 51 million compared to net profit of Rs 129 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 36.5% to Rs 522 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BPL LIMITED, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 40.9.
