HPL ELECTRIC & POWER share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 618.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,754.0 (up 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are V GUARD IND. (up 4.8%) and Graphite India (up 4.0%).

ABB (down 2.9%) and TIMKEN INDIA (down 2.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, HPL ELECTRIC & POWER has moved up from Rs 216.1 to Rs 618.2, registering a gain of Rs 402.1 (up 186.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,202.8 to 72,754.0, registering a gain of 68.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Axis Bank (up 1.9%) and JSW Steel (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,407.9 (up 0.2%). Axis Bank and Hero Motocorp are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,846.5 to 79,856.6, registering a gain of 14,010.1 points (up 21.3%).

HPL ELECTRIC & POWER Financial Update...

HPL ELECTRIC & POWER net profit grew 145.5% YoY to Rs 170 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 69 million a year ago. Net sales rose 22.5% to Rs 3,929 million during the period as against Rs 3,207 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, HPL ELECTRIC & POWER reported 287.6% increase in net profit to Rs 302 million compared to net profit of Rs 78 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 24.5% to Rs 12,622 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HPL ELECTRIC & POWER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 74.0.
