TEXMACO RAIL share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 254.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,740.4 (up 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are V GUARD IND. (up 4.7%) and Graphite India (up 4.0%).

ABB (down 3.0%) and TIMKEN INDIA (down 2.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TEXMACO RAIL has moved up from Rs 114.2 to Rs 254.8, registering a gain of Rs 140.6 (up 123.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,202.8 to 72,740.4, registering a gain of 68.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 204.5%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 151.1%) and Bharat Electronics (up 134.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,835.2 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Axis Bank (up 2.0%) and JSW Steel (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,407.9 (up 0.2%). Axis Bank and Hero Motocorp are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,846.5 to 79,835.2, registering a gain of 13,988.7 points (up 21.2%).

TEXMACO RAIL Financial Update...

TEXMACO RAIL net profit grew 178.6% YoY to Rs 417 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 150 million a year ago. Net sales rose 37.0% to Rs 11,446 million during the period as against Rs 8,353 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, TEXMACO RAIL reported 5.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 115 million compared to net profit of Rs 122 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 38.3% to Rs 22,433 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TEXMACO RAIL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 105.8.
