PNC INFRATECH Gains 10%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 0.5%

PNC INFRATECH share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 511.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,141.6 (down 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Graphite India (up 3.7%) and Lakshmi Machine (up 2.7%).

ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 5.9%) and SKF India (down 1.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PNC INFRATECH has moved up from Rs 359.0 to Rs 511.1, registering a gain of Rs 152.1 (up 42.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,202.8 to 72,141.6, registering a gain of 67.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 204.6%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 149.6%) and Bharat Electronics (up 132.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,467.9 (down 0.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 2.8%) and Power Grid Corp. (down 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,268.7 (down 0.4%). Adani Enterprises and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,846.5 to 79,467.9, registering a gain of 13,621.4 points (up 20.7%).

PNC INFRATECH Financial Update...

PNC INFRATECH net profit grew 218.4% YoY to Rs 5,752 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,806 million a year ago. Net sales rose 3.6% to Rs 21,675 million during the period as against Rs 20,917 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, PNC INFRATECH reported 13.4% increase in net profit to Rs 6,585 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,804 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 10.4% to Rs 79,561 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PNC INFRATECH, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 10.1.
