INDOWIND ENERGY Gains 10%; BSE OIL & GAS Index Up 0.7%

INDOWIND ENERGY share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 26.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 29,198.9 (up 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today are IOC (up 1.0%) and BPCL (up 1.0%).

Over the last one year, INDOWIND ENERGY has moved up from Rs 10.5 to Rs 26.2, registering a gain of Rs 15.7 (up 149.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 18,270.8 to 29,198.9, registering a gain of 59.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were GAIL (up 101.1%), HPCL (up 90.8%) and IOC (up 83.5%).

The BSE Sensex is at 77,240.0 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Sun Pharma (down 1.6%) and Bajaj Finance (down 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,494.2 (down 0.1%). HDFC LIFE INSURANCE and Sun Pharma are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,168.3 to 77,240.0, registering a gain of 14,071.7 points (up 22.3%).

INDOWIND ENERGY Financial Update...

INDOWIND ENERGY net profit grew 102.5% YoY to Rs 6 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 249 million a year ago. Net sales declined 1.7% to Rs 44 million during the period as against Rs 45 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, INDOWIND ENERGY reported 15217.3% decrease in net profit to Rs -193 million compared to net profit of Rs 1 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 38.3% to Rs 340 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of INDOWIND ENERGY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 38.7.
