The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Asian Paints (down 3.6%) and Infosys (down 2.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,098.7 (down 0.8%). LTIMINDTREE and Grasim Industries are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,953.5 to 78,886.2, registering a gain of 12,932.7 points (up 19.6%).
JAIPAN INDUSTRIES net profit fell 864.7% YoY to Rs -104 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 14 million a year ago. Net sales declined 12.7% to Rs 73 million during the period as against Rs 84 million in January-March 2023.
For the year ended March 2023, JAIPAN INDUSTRIES reported 592.6% increase in net profit to Rs 14 million compared to net profit of Rs 2 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 67.7% to Rs 391 million during FY23.
The current Price to earnings ratio of JAIPAN INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -2.0.
