HERCULES HOISTS share price has zoomed 9% and is presently trading at Rs 642.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,042.4 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are AIA Engineering (up 3.0%) and Thermax (up 2.0%).

Siemens (down 2.3%) and Carborundum Universal (down 1.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, HERCULES HOISTS has moved up from Rs 335.1 to Rs 642.1, registering a gain of Rs 307.1 (up 91.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,182.8 to 72,042.4, registering a gain of 66.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 212.2%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 152.5%) and Bharat Electronics (up 133.4%).

The BSE Sensex is at 79,281.5 (down 0.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Infosys (down 1.6%) and JSW Steel (down 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,221.7 (down 0.3%). JSW Steel and Infosys are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,953.5 to 79,281.5, registering a gain of 13,328.0 points (up 20.2%).

HERCULES HOISTS Financial Update...

HERCULES HOISTS net profit fell 86.0% YoY to Rs 119 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 849 million a year ago. Net sales rose 20.7% to Rs 573 million during the period as against Rs 475 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, HERCULES HOISTS reported 65.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 360 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,033 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 19.1% to Rs 1,795 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HERCULES HOISTS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 57.1.
