VIP INDUSTRIES share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 460.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 58,064.9 (up 0.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (up 2.6%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 2.3%).

Blue Star (down 1.5%) and WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, VIP INDUSTRIES has moved down from Rs 623.6 to Rs 460.5, registering a loss of Rs 163.1 (down 26.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,308.7 to 58,064.9, registering a gain of 37.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 142.3%), Blue Star (up 112.4%) and Voltas (up 77.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,184.3 (up 0.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 2.4%) and Maruti Suzuki (up 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,218.5 (up 0.9%). ONGC and Coal India are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,953.5 to 79,184.3, registering a gain of 13,230.8 points (up 20.1%).

VIP INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

VIP INDUSTRIES net profit fell 93.0% YoY to Rs 40 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 578 million a year ago. Net sales rose 0.4% to Rs 6,389 million during the period as against Rs 6,361 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, VIP INDUSTRIES reported 64.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 543 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,523 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 7.8% to Rs 22,450 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of VIP INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 11096.4.
