ATUL AUTO share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 632.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE AUTO index is at 55,654.2 (down 0.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE AUTO index today are Escorts (down 1.6%) and M&M (down 1.3%).

Bosch (up 0.9%) and Cummins India (up 0.9%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, ATUL AUTO has moved up from Rs 367.2 to Rs 632.2, registering a gain of Rs 265.0 (up 72.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE AUTO index has moved up from 35,382.0 to 55,654.2, registering a gain of 57.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE AUTO index stocks during this same period were Bajaj Auto (up 94.9%), Cummins India (up 85.7%) and Motherson Sumi (up 81.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,746.0 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bharti Airtel (down 1.4%) and M&M (down 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,033.1 (down 0.1%). HDFC LIFE INSURANCE and SBI LIFE INSURANCE are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,782.8 to 78,746.0, registering a gain of 12,963.2 points (up 19.7%).

ATUL AUTO Financial Update...

ATUL AUTO net profit grew 46.1% YoY to Rs 49 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 33 million a year ago. Net sales rose 6.6% to Rs 1,601 million during the period as against Rs 1,503 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, ATUL AUTO reported 112.3% increase in net profit to Rs 31 million compared to net loss of Rs 255 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 62.7% to Rs 5,131 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ATUL AUTO, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 248.1.
