GRAVITA INDIA share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 1,721.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 30,468.1 (up 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are JSW Steel (up 2.3%) and Jindal Steel (up 1.1%).

Hindustan Zinc (down 2.0%) and Coal India (down 1.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GRAVITA INDIA has moved up from Rs 677.0 to Rs 1,721.3, registering a gain of Rs 1,044.3 (up 154.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 21,801.3 to 30,468.1, registering a gain of 39.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Coal India (up 113.6%), NMDC (up 95.8%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 88.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,746.0 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bharti Airtel (down 1.4%) and M&M (down 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,033.1 (down 0.1%). HDFC LIFE INSURANCE and SBI LIFE INSURANCE are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,782.8 to 78,746.0, registering a gain of 12,963.2 points (up 19.7%).

GRAVITA INDIA Financial Update...

GRAVITA INDIA net profit grew 29.4% YoY to Rs 680 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 526 million a year ago. Net sales rose 29.1% to Rs 9,079 million during the period as against Rs 7,034 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, GRAVITA INDIA reported 37.5% increase in net profit to Rs 2,041 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,485 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 26.4% to Rs 28,006 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GRAVITA INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 46.1.
