SWISS GLASS Plunges 3%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 1.5%

SWISS GLASS share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 413.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,505.9 (up 1.5%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Honeywell Automation (down 1.3%) and SKF India (down 1.0%).

Finolex Cables (up 3.7%) and GMR Infra (up 3.2%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, SWISS GLASS has moved down from Rs 632.0 to Rs 413.5, registering a loss of Rs 218.6 (down 34.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,066.5 to 71,505.9, registering a gain of 66.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 195.6%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 148.0%) and Bharat Electronics (up 134.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,342.6 (up 0.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are JSW Steel (up 3.0%) and HCl Tech. (up 2.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,223.8 (up 0.7%). Adani Enterprises and JSW Steel are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,782.8 to 79,342.6, registering a gain of 13,559.8 points (up 20.6%).

SWISS GLASS Financial Update...

SWISS GLASS net profit fell 41.7% YoY to Rs 54 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 93 million a year ago. Net sales rose 15.2% to Rs 2,271 million during the period as against Rs 1,972 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, SWISS GLASS reported 16.7% increase in net profit to Rs 708 million compared to net profit of Rs 607 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 43.3% to Rs 9,228 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SWISS GLASS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 76.2.
