NILE. share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 2,124.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 30,735.2 (up 1.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are APOLLO TUBES (up 2.2%) and JSW Steel (up 2.0%).

Hindustan Zinc (down 0.4%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, NILE. has moved up from Rs 790.2 to Rs 2,124.8, registering a gain of Rs 1,334.7 (up 168.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 21,801.3 to 30,735.2, registering a gain of 41.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Coal India (up 117.5%), NMDC (up 100.0%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 91.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tech Mahindra (up 2.3%) and JSW Steel (up 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,176.3 (up 0.5%). Tech Mahindra and Adani Enterprises are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,782.8 to 79,212.8, registering a gain of 13,430.0 points (up 20.4%).

NILE. Financial Update...

NILE. net profit fell 29.0% YoY to Rs 61 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 85 million a year ago. Net sales declined 19.8% to Rs 1,741 million during the period as against Rs 2,171 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, NILE. reported 5.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 226 million compared to net profit of Rs 238 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 14.8% to Rs 8,063 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NILE., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 20.5.
