Linde India share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 7,625.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 30,951.6 (down 4.2%).

Among the top losers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today are ONGC (down 6.4%) and GAIL (down 5.1%).

Over the last one year, Linde India has moved up from Rs 4,988.1 to Rs 7,625.0, registering a gain of Rs 2,636.9 (up 52.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 19,390.7 to 30,951.6, registering a gain of 59.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were HPCL (up 100.1%), GAIL (up 87.0%) and IOC (up 81.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,666.8 (down 2.9%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (down 5.3%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 5.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,022.6 (down 2.8%). ONGC and Tata Motors are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,459.3 to 78,666.8, registering a gain of 12,207.5 points (up 18.4%).

Linde India Financial Update...

Linde India net profit grew 5.7% YoY to Rs 1,043 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 987 million a year ago. Net sales declined 0.0% to Rs 6,301 million during the period as against Rs 6,302 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Linde India reported 19.3% decrease in net profit to Rs 4,341 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,381 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 11.7% to Rs 27,687 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Linde India, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 152.5.
