ELIN ELECTRONICS share price has plunged 7% and is presently trading at Rs 191.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 58,342.0 (down 2.8%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (down 5.1%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (down 5.0%).

Over the last one year, ELIN ELECTRONICS has moved up from Rs 152.3 to Rs 191.8, registering a gain of Rs 39.5 (up 25.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,697.1 to 58,342.0, registering a gain of 36.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 168.0%), Blue Star (up 108.8%) and Voltas (up 80.7%).

The BSE Sensex is at 78,587.3 (down 3.0%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (down 6.0%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 5.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,990.5 (down 2.9%). Tata Motors and ONGC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,459.3 to 78,587.3, registering a gain of 12,128.0 points (up 18.2%).

ELIN ELECTRONICS Financial Update...

ELIN ELECTRONICS net profit grew 121.1% YoY to Rs 35 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 16 million a year ago. Net sales rose 3.4% to Rs 2,778 million during the period as against Rs 2,687 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, ELIN ELECTRONICS reported 31.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 268 million compared to net profit of Rs 392 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 1.7% to Rs 10,754 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ELIN ELECTRONICS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 68.6.
