INOX WIND Plunges 7%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 4.4%

INOX WIND share price has plunged 7% and is presently trading at Rs 167.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 70,271.5 (down 4.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are GMR Infra (down 7.1%) and Thermax (down 6.5%).

Over the last one year, INOX WIND has moved up from Rs 52.1 to Rs 167.1, registering a gain of Rs 114.9 (up 220.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,869.5 to 70,271.5, registering a gain of 60.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 175.7%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 134.1%) and Bharat Electronics (up 122.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,519.1 (down 3.0%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (down 6.3%) and Tech Mahindra (down 5.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,995.7 (down 2.9%). Tata Motors and ONGC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,459.3 to 78,519.1, registering a gain of 12,059.7 points (up 18.1%).

INOX WIND Financial Update...

INOX WIND net profit grew 131.6% YoY to Rs 377 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 1,193 million a year ago. Net sales rose 173.8% to Rs 5,277 million during the period as against Rs 1,928 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, INOX WIND reported 39.0% decrease in net profit to Rs -6,707 million compared to net loss of Rs 4,826 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 18.0% to Rs 7,370 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of INOX WIND, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -414.7.
