LLOYDS METALS share price has plunged 7% and is presently trading at Rs 729.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 30,264.1 (down 5.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE METAL index today are SAIL (down 7.2%) and Vedanta (down 6.1%).

Over the last one year, LLOYDS METALS has moved up from Rs 648.2 to Rs 729.8, registering a gain of Rs 81.7 (up 12.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 22,347.9 to 30,264.1, registering a gain of 35.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Coal India (up 108.3%), NMDC (up 91.3%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 90.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,477.9 (down 3.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (down 6.6%) and Tata Steel (down 5.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,914.3 (down 3.3%). Tata Motors and ONGC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,459.3 to 78,477.9, registering a gain of 12,018.6 points (up 18.1%).

LLOYDS METALS Financial Update...

LLOYDS METALS net profit grew 38.2% YoY to Rs 5,574 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 4,033 million a year ago. Net sales rose 23.0% to Rs 24,172 million during the period as against Rs 19,655 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, LLOYDS METALS reported 530.8% increase in net profit to Rs 12,429 million compared to net loss of Rs 2,885 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 92.2% to Rs 65,217 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of LLOYDS METALS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 27.3.
