Jaiprakash Asso. share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 9.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 7,752.3 (down 4.3%).

Phoenix Mill (down 8.4%) and Sobha (down 5.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Jaiprakash Asso. has moved up from Rs 8.2 to Rs 9.7, registering a gain of Rs 1.5 (up 18.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,455.6 to 7,752.3, registering a gain of 74.0% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (down 4.3%) and Tata Steel (down 3.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,271.9 (down 1.8%). Tata Motors and Hindalco are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,459.3 to 79,486.0, registering a gain of 13,026.7 points (up 19.6%).

Jaiprakash Asso. Financial Update...

Jaiprakash Asso. net profit fell 130.6% YoY to Rs -3,591 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 1,557 million a year ago. Net sales declined 8.7% to Rs 17,409 million during the period as against Rs 19,077 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Jaiprakash Asso. reported 22.7% increase in net profit to Rs -8,244 million compared to net loss of Rs 10,664 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 26.3% to Rs 72,631 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Jaiprakash Asso., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -2.0.
