MOSCHIP SEMI Gains 6%; BSE IT Index Down 0.1%

MOSCHIP SEMI share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 239.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 35,688.1 (down 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE IT index today are Oracle Financial Services (up 0.7%) and INTELLECT DESIGN (up 0.5%).

LTIMINDTREE (down 1.9%) and ROUTE MOBILE (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, MOSCHIP SEMI has moved up from Rs 67.9 to Rs 239.3, registering a gain of Rs 171.4 (up 252.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved up from 29,174.5 to 35,688.1, registering a gain of 22.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were Oracle Financial Services (up 149.6%), INFIBEAM AVENUES (up 112.0%) and Birlasoft (up 102.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,497.6 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Indusind Bank (up 2.6%) and ICICI Bank (up 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,574.9 (up 0.1%). Indusind Bank and ICICI Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,228.5 to 77,497.6, registering a gain of 14,269.1 points (up 22.6%).

MOSCHIP SEMI Financial Update...

MOSCHIP SEMI net profit fell 43.1% YoY to Rs 9 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 15 million a year ago. Net sales rose 40.1% to Rs 754 million during the period as against Rs 538 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, MOSCHIP SEMI reported 4.3% decrease in net profit to Rs 62 million compared to net profit of Rs 65 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 34.3% to Rs 1,984 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MOSCHIP SEMI, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 458.2.
