PSP PROJECTS Gains 5%; BSE REALTY Index Down 1.9%

PSP PROJECTS share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 708.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,382.1 (down 1.9%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are Brigade Enterprises (up 0.4%) and MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (up 0.4%).

PRESTIGE ESTATES (down 3.1%) and Godrej Properties (down 2.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PSP PROJECTS has moved down from Rs 795.1 to Rs 708.0, registering a loss of Rs 87.1 (down 11.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,536.1 to 8,382.1, registering a gain of 84.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 199.3%), Sobha (up 196.2%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 113.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,839.2 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 3.2%) and NTPC (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Power Grid Corp..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,000.1 (up 0.2%). Power Grid Corp. and Coal India are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,527.7 to 81,839.2, registering a gain of 15,311.5 points (up 23.0%).

PSP PROJECTS Financial Update...

PSP PROJECTS net profit fell 67.0% YoY to Rs 161 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 488 million a year ago. Net sales declined 8.5% to Rs 6,678 million during the period as against Rs 7,296 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, PSP PROJECTS reported 19.0% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,346 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,663 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 10.9% to Rs 19,378 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PSP PROJECTS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 22.7.
