INDIABULLS POWER share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 17.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER index is at 8,470.9 (up 0.3%).

Among the top losers in the BSE POWER index today are ADANI POWER (down 2.2%) and Siemens (down 2.2%).

ADANI ENERGY SOLUTIONS (up 8.5%) and Power Grid Corp. (up 3.1%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, INDIABULLS POWER has moved up from Rs 5.0 to Rs 17.0, registering a gain of Rs 12.0 (up 239.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER index has moved up from 4,379.7 to 8,470.9, registering a gain of 93.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 197.4%), TORRENT POWER (up 173.5%) and ADANI POWER (up 162.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,784.2 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 3.1%) and NTPC (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,990.6 (up 0.2%). Coal India and Power Grid Corp. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,527.7 to 81,784.2, registering a gain of 15,256.5 points (up 22.9%).

INDIABULLS POWER Financial Update...

INDIABULLS POWER net profit grew 2307.4% YoY to Rs 106,658 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 4,832 million a year ago. Net sales rose 1.5% to Rs 9,140 million during the period as against Rs 9,006 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, INDIABULLS POWER reported 5.6% increase in net profit to Rs -18,699 million compared to net loss of Rs 19,814 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 0.9% to Rs 32,312 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of INDIABULLS POWER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 1.0.
