GODREJ AGROVET share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 824.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 22,520.6 (up 0.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE FMCG index today are KRBL (down 6.8%) and Shree Renuka Sugars (down 2.9%).

Tata Coffee (up 3.6%) and AVANTI FEEDS (up 3.5%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, GODREJ AGROVET has moved up from Rs 486.3 to Rs 824.1, registering a gain of Rs 337.9 (up 69.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 18,986.4 to 22,520.6, registering a gain of 18.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were BOM.BURMAH (up 98.7%), Godfrey Phillips (up 97.6%) and Emami (up 81.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 3.1%) and NTPC (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,990.6 (up 0.2%). Coal India and Power Grid Corp. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,527.7 to 81,784.2, registering a gain of 15,256.5 points (up 22.9%).

GODREJ AGROVET Financial Update...

GODREJ AGROVET net profit grew 309.3% YoY to Rs 552 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 135 million a year ago. Net sales rose 1.9% to Rs 21,343 million during the period as against Rs 20,950 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, GODREJ AGROVET reported 21.7% increase in net profit to Rs 3,595 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,954 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 2.0% to Rs 95,606 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GODREJ AGROVET , based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 51.5.
