IND. SWIFT Plunges 5%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 0.1%

IND. SWIFT share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 25.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 40,562.1 (up 0.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are HIKAL CHEMIC (down 2.7%) and LAURUS LABS (down 2.0%).

Jubilant Pharmova (up 10.6%) and ASTER DM HEALTHCARE (up 7.0%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, IND. SWIFT has moved up from Rs 12.2 to Rs 25.7, registering a gain of Rs 13.6 (up 111.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 27,736.5 to 40,562.1, registering a gain of 46.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Jubilant Pharmova (up 126.8%), SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 98.8%) and Cadila Healthcare (up 97.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,804.0 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 3.1%) and NTPC (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,990.6 (up 0.2%). Coal India and Power Grid Corp. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,527.7 to 81,804.0, registering a gain of 15,276.3 points (up 23.0%).

IND. SWIFT Financial Update...

IND. SWIFT net profit fell 29.3% YoY to Rs 375 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 531 million a year ago. Net sales rose 27.7% to Rs 1,352 million during the period as against Rs 1,059 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, IND. SWIFT reported 230.1% increase in net profit to Rs 260 million compared to net loss of Rs 200 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 3.3% to Rs 4,110 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of IND. SWIFT, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 9.8.
