Texmaco Infra Plunges 5%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 1.0%

Texmaco Infra share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 135.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 74,858.6 (down 1.0%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Lakshmi Machine (down 2.3%) and Siemens (down 2.3%).

Thermax (up 1.5%) and TIMKEN INDIA (up 1.0%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Texmaco Infra has moved up from Rs 82.3 to Rs 135.5, registering a gain of Rs 53.2 (up 64.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 44,045.9 to 74,858.6, registering a gain of 70.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 197.3%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 143.3%) and Bharat Electronics (up 137.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,804.0 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 3.1%) and NTPC (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,990.6 (up 0.2%). Coal India and Power Grid Corp. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,527.7 to 81,804.0, registering a gain of 15,276.3 points (up 23.0%).

Texmaco Infra Financial Update...

Texmaco Infra net profit grew 961.4% YoY to Rs 11 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1 million a year ago. Net sales declined 18.6% to Rs 34 million during the period as against Rs 42 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Texmaco Infra reported 103.4% increase in net profit to Rs 31 million compared to net loss of Rs 911 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 13.5% to Rs 165 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Texmaco Infra, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 436.1.
