IFGL REFRACT Gains 5%; BSE METAL Index Up 0.2%

IFGL REFRACT share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 280.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 32,831.7 (up 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Coal India (up 3.0%) and Hindalco (up 0.8%).

Tata Steel (down 2.0%) and SAIL (down 1.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, IFGL REFRACT has moved up from Rs 134.6 to Rs 280.1, registering a gain of Rs 145.6 (up 108.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 22,180.7 to 32,831.7, registering a gain of 48.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Coal India (up 134.6%), NMDC (up 107.5%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 100.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,800.1 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 3.2%) and NTPC (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,991.4 (up 0.2%). Power Grid Corp. and Coal India are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,527.7 to 81,800.1, registering a gain of 15,272.5 points (up 23.0%).

IFGL REFRACT Financial Update...

IFGL REFRACT net profit grew 38.9% YoY to Rs 162 million for the quarter ended March 2017, compared to a profit of Rs 116 million a year ago. Net sales rose 18.1% to Rs 2,084 million during the period as against Rs 1,765 million in January-March 2016.

For the year ended March 2016, IFGL REFRACT reported 15.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 452 million compared to net profit of Rs 533 million during FY15. Revenue of the company fell 9.1% to Rs 6,999 million during FY16.

The current Price to earnings ratio of IFGL REFRACT, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 6.5.
