AMI ORGANICS Gains 4%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 0.1%

AMI ORGANICS share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 1,358.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 37,182.7 (up 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are Sanofi India (up 5.0%) and Biocon (up 3.0%).

GSK Pharma (down 1.5%) and GLAND PHARMA (down 1.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, AMI ORGANICS has moved up from Rs 1,300.2 to Rs 1,358.4, registering a gain of Rs 58.2 (up 4.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 24,514.7 to 37,182.7, registering a gain of 51.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Cadila Healthcare (up 103.1%), Jubilant Pharmova (up 96.8%) and POLY MEDICURE (up 96.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,508.9 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Indusind Bank (up 2.4%) and ICICI Bank (up 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,588.6 (up 0.1%). Indusind Bank and ICICI Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,228.5 to 77,508.9, registering a gain of 14,280.3 points (up 22.6%).

AMI ORGANICS Financial Update...

AMI ORGANICS net profit fell 5.6% YoY to Rs 257 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 272 million a year ago. Net sales rose 20.7% to Rs 2,250 million during the period as against Rs 1,864 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, AMI ORGANICS reported 15.8% increase in net profit to Rs 833 million compared to net profit of Rs 719 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 18.6% to Rs 6,167 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of AMI ORGANICS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 118.7.
