NCC Gains 5%; BSE REALTY Index Down 0.6%

NCC share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 353.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,526.9 (down 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 2.3%) and OBEROI REALTY (up 1.8%).

Sobha (down 2.3%) and Phoenix Mill (down 1.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, NCC has moved up from Rs 158.8 to Rs 353.9, registering a gain of Rs 195.1 (up 122.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,536.1 to 8,526.9, registering a gain of 88.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 210.3%), Sobha (up 196.7%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 112.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,735.1 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Asian Paints (up 2.4%) and NTPC (up 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,937.8 (up 0.3%). Asian Paints and NTPC are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,527.7 to 81,735.1, registering a gain of 15,207.4 points (up 22.9%).

NCC Financial Update...

NCC net profit grew 20.9% YoY to Rs 2,383 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,971 million a year ago. Net sales rose 31.0% to Rs 64,849 million during the period as against Rs 49,490 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, NCC reported 30.8% increase in net profit to Rs 6,462 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,940 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 39.6% to Rs 155,534 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NCC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 30.2.
