WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 1,732.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 60,791.1 (down 0.2%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (down 2.2%) and RAJESH EXPORTS (down 1.6%).

AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 6.2%) and Blue Star (up 1.3%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA has moved up from Rs 1,581.9 to Rs 1,732.5, registering a gain of Rs 150.6 (up 9.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 45,774.1 to 60,791.1, registering a gain of 32.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 175.5%), Voltas (up 102.6%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 93.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,198.0 (down 0.5%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 13.9%) and NTPC (down 2.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,354.9 (down 0.7%). Adani Enterprises and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,655.2 to 77,198.0, registering a gain of 11,542.8 points (up 17.6%).

WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA Financial Update...

WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA net profit grew 40.1% YoY to Rs 535 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 382 million a year ago. Net sales rose 12.6% to Rs 17,130 million during the period as against Rs 15,216 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA reported 0.1% increase in net profit to Rs 2,243 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,240 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 2.4% to Rs 68,298 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 71.3.
