VIP INDUSTRIES share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 484.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 63,225.5 (up 0.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are Blue Star (down 1.7%) and WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (down 0.9%).

AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 4.8%) and RAJESH EXPORTS (up 4.6%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, VIP INDUSTRIES has moved down from Rs 617.6 to Rs 484.4, registering a loss of Rs 133.2 (down 21.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 44,784.7 to 63,225.5, registering a gain of 41.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 184.8%), AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 140.7%) and Voltas (up 120.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,058.9 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Hindustan Unilever (down 6.1%) and Nestle (down 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,405.6 (down 0.1%). Hindustan Unilever and SBI LIFE INSURANCE are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,571.9 to 80,058.9, registering a gain of 15,487.0 points (up 24.0%).

VIP INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

VIP INDUSTRIES net profit fell 348.9% YoY to Rs -331 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 133 million a year ago. Net sales declined 0.3% to Rs 5,443 million during the period as against Rs 5,461 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, VIP INDUSTRIES reported 64.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 543 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,523 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 7.8% to Rs 22,450 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of VIP INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -150.4.
