VIP INDUSTRIES share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 491.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 60,766.9 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 6.4%) and Blue Star (up 1.1%).

WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (down 4.9%) and CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (down 2.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, VIP INDUSTRIES has moved down from Rs 609.7 to Rs 491.0, registering a loss of Rs 118.7 (down 19.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 45,774.1 to 60,766.9, registering a gain of 32.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 175.1%), Voltas (up 102.8%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 93.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,162.3 (down 0.5%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 13.6%) and NTPC (down 2.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,349.4 (down 0.7%). Adani Enterprises and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,655.2 to 77,162.3, registering a gain of 11,507.1 points (up 17.5%).

VIP INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

VIP INDUSTRIES net profit fell 348.9% YoY to Rs -331 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 133 million a year ago. Net sales declined 0.3% to Rs 5,443 million during the period as against Rs 5,461 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, VIP INDUSTRIES reported 64.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 543 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,523 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 7.8% to Rs 22,450 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of VIP INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -152.4.
