VENUS PIPES & TUBES share price has plunged 8% and is presently trading at Rs 1,699.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 29,451.9 .

Among the top losers in the BSE METAL index today are NMDC (down 1.6%) and APOLLO TUBES (down 1.6%).

Jindal Steel (up 2.8%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 1.2%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, VENUS PIPES & TUBES has moved up from Rs 1,461.3 to Rs 1,699.4, registering a gain of Rs 238.1 (up 16.3%).

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,259.5 to 77,598.8, registering a gain of 12,339.4 points (up 18.9%).

VENUS PIPES & TUBES Financial Update...

VENUS PIPES & TUBES net profit grew 58.3% YoY to Rs 276 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 174 million a year ago. Net sales rose 33.7% to Rs 2,401 million during the period as against Rs 1,796 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, VENUS PIPES & TUBES reported 94.5% increase in net profit to Rs 860 million compared to net profit of Rs 442 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 45.2% to Rs 8,022 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of VENUS PIPES & TUBES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 36.0.
