VARROC ENGINEERING share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 576.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,296.3 (down 0.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Bharat Electronics (down 1.0%) and V GUARD IND. (down 1.0%).

GRINDWELL NORTON (up 2.3%) and Thermax (up 2.1%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, VARROC ENGINEERING has moved up from Rs 494.7 to Rs 576.2, registering a gain of Rs 81.5 (up 16.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 48,111.6 to 72,296.3, registering a gain of 50.3% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (down 2.9%) and Infosys (down 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,959.9 (down 0.4%). Trent and M&M are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,166.9 to 81,486.8, registering a gain of 15,319.9 points (up 23.2%).

VARROC ENGINEERING Financial Update...

VARROC ENGINEERING net profit fell 35.8% YoY to Rs 314 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 489 million a year ago. Net sales rose 5.2% to Rs 18,989 million during the period as against Rs 18,057 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, VARROC ENGINEERING reported 1325.6% increase in net profit to Rs 5,530 million compared to net profit of Rs 388 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 9.6% to Rs 75,519 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of VARROC ENGINEERING, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 17.9.
