VARROC ENGINEERING Gains 11%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 1.8%

VARROC ENGINEERING share price has zoomed 11% and is presently trading at Rs 688.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 70,088.7 (up 1.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are SCHAEFFLER INDIA (up 6.2%) and GMR Infra (up 5.4%).

ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 0.8%) and Finolex Cables (down 0.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, VARROC ENGINEERING has moved up from Rs 315.0 to Rs 688.7, registering a gain of Rs 373.7 (up 118.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 38,798.4 to 70,088.7, registering a gain of 80.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 246.8%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 178.9%) and Bharat Electronics (up 143.9%).

The BSE Sensex is at 76,700.4 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (up 2.2%) and Tata Motors (up 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,340.6 (up 0.4%). ONGC and L&T are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,143.0 to 76,700.4, registering a gain of 13,557.4 points (up 21.5%).

VARROC ENGINEERING Financial Update...

VARROC ENGINEERING net profit grew 68.9% YoY to Rs 532 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 315 million a year ago. Net sales rose 16.2% to Rs 19,749 million during the period as against Rs 16,991 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, VARROC ENGINEERING reported 149.5% increase in net profit to Rs 388 million compared to net loss of Rs 783 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 17.4% to Rs 68,631 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of VARROC ENGINEERING, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 20.7.
