VADIVARHE SPECIALITY CHEMICALS share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 50.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 43,917.3 (down 0.8%).

Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are CAPLIN POINT (down 3.9%) and J.B.Chemicals (down 3.8%).

GRANULES INDIA (up 3.7%) and ALEMBIC PHARMA (up 3.2%) are among the top gainers today.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,412.0 (down 1.5%). BPCL and Tata Motors are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,512.1 to 82,980.8, registering a gain of 17,468.7 points (up 26.7%).

VADIVARHE SPECIALITY CHEMICALS net profit fell 210.8% YoY to Rs -29 million for the quarter ended December 2021, compared to a loss of Rs 9 million a year ago. Net sales rose 30.5% to Rs 57 million during the period as against Rs 44 million in October-December 2020.

For the year ended March 2023, VADIVARHE SPECIALITY CHEMICALS reported 111.9% increase in net profit to Rs 11 million compared to net loss of Rs 96 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 103.6% to Rs 437 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of VADIVARHE SPECIALITY CHEMICALS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -10.0.
