V GUARD IND. share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 440.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 68,564.1 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are GMR Infra (up 2.6%) and Graphite India (up 1.7%).

ABB (down 2.8%) and Siemens (down 1.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,571.9 to 80,453.0, registering a gain of 15,881.1 points (up 24.6%).

V GUARD IND. net profit grew 54.1% YoY to Rs 990 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 642 million a year ago. Net sales rose 21.6% to Rs 14,771 million during the period as against Rs 12,148 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, V GUARD IND. reported 36.2% increase in net profit to Rs 2,576 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,891 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 17.7% to Rs 48,567 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of V GUARD IND., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 65.6.
